The logo combines elements which reflect the characteristics of Baku city and marathon race.
Hummingbird - an amazing creature which flies long distances without stopping and perfectly controls its energy and speed during its journey. The flight of the hummingbird is in the harmony with the philosophy of marathon race. The marathon runners by controlling their energy and speed for getting to the finish line, use the method of this bird.
Baku is called the City of Winds, due to its climatic zone and wind throughout the whole year. The hashtags - “win the wind” and “follow the wind” are inspired by the wind which is the symbol of Baku. By communicating the concept, we do expect our participants to win not only the speed of wind, but also the daily stress, negative thoughts and laziness. We believe that “Winthewind” concept is going to motivate the runners to undertake the necessary training, motivation, self-discipline and effective time-management, all of which are inter-related characteristics.
Paragraph symbol - means a start of a new paragraph in sport history of the country by realizing an important event.
Ribbon - combines together the core 4 values, Unity, Solidarity, Positivity and Wellness.
Lime - the main color of the ribbons represents the birth of the Marathon in Azerbaijan, and aims to bring positive energy by its launch.
